CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION CAMPS
The MOIRA Conductive Education Centre organizes short-term (3-4 week long), intensive conductive educational programme for disabled children and adults.
MOIRA Centre's duties: the fully comprehensive organising, running of the conductive sessions under high level professional control, providing written and video documentation about the sessions, based on international contract.
MOIRA’s pioneer work in introducing and spreading conductive education in the world:
- New York, USA: MOIRA introduced and ran the first conductive education
practice in 1988
- Norway: MOIRA organized the first conductive educational camp in the country in 1991. In 1999 the delegation of the Norwegian Board of Health studied and appraised the method of conductive education inter alia in MORA Centre in Budapest. As a result of the appraisal (Lofterød Report) conductive education became a state-financed service in the Kingdom of Norway.
- Leeds, United Kingdom: MOIRA organized the first big conductive educational summer camp in 1991
- Leuven, Belgium: introducing and organizing the first conductive education camp in the country in 1992
- Toronto, Canada: introducing conductive education and organizing the first big summer camp in 1993
- Vaasa, Finland: MOIRA’s first appearance was in 1999, when MOIRA held the first course on conductive education in the country and still gives professional advice and supervision.
- Cairo, Egypt: MOIRA introduced the method of conductive education in the country and held the first camp in 2001
- Kaunas, Lithuania: MOIRA introduced the method of conductive education in the Baltic country and held the first camp in 2001
- Syktyvkar, Republic of Komi: MOIRA introduced conductive education and held the first conductive education camp in the country in 2006
- Trincity, Trinidad & Tobago: MOIRA holds the Carribbean Area's first conductive educational camp in 2010, and successfully introduces the method of conductive education in the West Indies
- Casablanca, Morocco: MOIRA introduced the method of conductive education and ran the first conductive camp in the African country between January - March 2011

2004 Valencia (Spain) 64 children, with 28 conductors in August and 55 children with 14 conductors in November.
